International youth sailing cruise

with Rotary Distrikt 1820 and RC Bad Vilbel

The RC distrikt 1820  organized together with RC Bad Vilbel an  international youth sailing cruise  lasting two weeks in the Baltic sea.. Aboard were 16 young persons from all over the world, learning the concepts of German language.Their "classroom" at this time was aboard of Amphitrite , a beautilful 3-mast fore-and-aft schooner, a ship from the Clipper fleet.
2 young people from Bad Vilbel,3 people from Rotary Club, a German teacher and members of the permanent crew, all professional sailors, helped  the young people aboard.. 
The saling cruise started in Kalmar (South Sweden)  on July 20th.,2002 and ended in Travemünde on August 03rd.
Afterwards the joung persons live with German families for one year and attend German schools.
